EMPOWERproclaim is an advanced class designed to teach women to preach the Word of God using the expository and narrative models of preaching. This course is designed to develop, equip, and empower a generation of women who would discover and embrace their God-given voice and carry the truth of Scripture in a transformational way. Whether the venue is the church, workplace, boardroom, school, home, or neighborhood, each woman has been given a place, a platform, or a pulpit to proclaim God’s truth. The goal is to unleash the prophetic and missional voice to break into darkness and offer hope and salvation to a broken world.

No. Proclaim is for ANY woman, not just for women who preach or teach.

Each student’s pace varies in reading, studying, and preparing to preach. Plan accordingly to complete your assignments.

You are allowed one excused absence from a Proclaim session. Please contact your coach in advance to make arrangements to submit Proclaim lab exercises before the session.

The student is encouraged to consult directly with the Proclaim Coordinator.

Because Proclaim professors and operations are contracted, EMPOWER is unable to refund a student’s tuition payment once it has been submitted.

If a student did not complete the program and wants to return, the student will be required to submit a new registration form with the full payment.

Anne Thornton
Anne and her husband, Justin, served as church planters with the Christian and Missionary Alliance for over 15 years. Whether leading in homes, churches, communities or corporate spaces, Anne is an advocate for the spiritual care and development of women in leadership. Anne joined the Empower community as a student in 2019 and has served in various roles since then. She is passionate about training women to become Bible expositors who teach with clarity, authority, and courage. As Anne and her family of 6 love to explore new places together and experience the beauty of God’s creation.
